Red Ted Productions is…

Red Ted Productions Ltd is owned by the broadcaster, producer, director and concert host Tommy Pearson.

In a multi-faceted career that has taken him around the world, Tommy Pearson has established an enviable reputation as producer, director and host working with many of the greatest names in music, film, theatre and television.

Trained as a percussionist and composer, Pearson had a successful early career as a freelance musician. For 14 years, Tommy was one of the most familiar voices on BBC Radio 3. He presented all the major strands on the network, including Morning on 3, In Tune, Performance on 3 and his weekly series on film music, Stage and Screen. Pearson also presented many documentaries, quizzes and reviews on BBC Radio 4 and was a regular presenter for the Proms on BBC4 television.

Meanwhile, Pearson was busy as a concert host, animateur and producer, working regularly with many of the UK’s finest orchestras and composers. In 2007 Tommy set up Red Ted Productions, producing and directing video content for major clients including EMI Classics, the LSO, CBSO and Halle orchestras, the Barbican Centre and Chandos Records. Tommy continues his work as a broadcaster producing and presenting regular programmes on Classic FM.
